Warm organ and heavy bass lay the foundation for a shaker-heavy downtempo Big Beat groove with synth coos and plucky synth riffs. Whooshing synth FX add an almost tropical atmosphere, reminiscent of birds chirping and cyborg wildlife. Drawing from playful experimentalists Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Dancing Wu Li Masters—originally released on cassette as simply Wu Li—hearkens back to an era of '90s electronic music production where anything goes, as long as it's fun. Wu Li isn't for listening to, it's for sitting in, like a big comfy loveseat.
